Development of a New Micro Drilling Tool with H-Shaped Chisel Edge

چکیده

In order to improve the tool life and micro-hole machining quality, H-shaped chisel edge micro-drill (HCE-MD) was developed in this paper. The HCE-MD characterized by inner formed through thinning. micro-drilling process, can perform positive rake cutting, so area of workpiece extruded cutting with a negative angle is reduced. Based on this, distribution near corner improved. Then, fabricated six-axis CNC grinding machine. process parameters were optimized based orthogonal test grey relational grade theory. size shape accuracy controlled multi-axis linkage method movement-axis micro compensation method. Finally, 0.25 mm radius 1.94 μm flank surface roughness μm. drilling performance evaluated comparative experiments. experimental results show that, compared common drill, produced lower thrust force better roundness accuracy, reduced wear flank.
